Stepping Into Durham’s Long Civil Rights Movement: A Downtown Walking Tour

August 3, 2013 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This tour will focus on Civil Rights History, Immigration Issues, LGBTQ Youth Activism and early Jewish and Women elected officials. At each stop we will learn about how our past impacts issues of today and invited guests will share personal experience and reminiscences about these important issues. Our goal is to connect Social Justice activism across issues and time.

The tour will begin and end at Parrish Street Forum, 108 W. Parrish Street. Refreshments will be provided.
