A Community Visioning Gathering: Imagining a Future for Pauli Murray’s Childhood Home
Date
October 16, 2010 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Pauli Murray wrote eloquently about the home at 906 Carroll Street that was the center of life for her family including her aunt Pauline Dame and her grandparents, Robert and Cornelia Fitzgerald. Now in disrepair, what can we as a community imagine as its future significance and purpose?
Sponsored by the Pauli Murray Project at the Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute, NC State University School of Architecture’s College of Design and Southwest Central Durham Quality of Life Project.
