The Conference against the Use of Drones in Warfare will hold a  pre-conference event featuring the viewing of a documentary, Wounds of Waziristan, and a discussion with documentarian Madiha Tahir. The film highlights the stories of those directly impacted by drone attacks in Pakistan since drone attacks began there in 2004 and in their own words.

The viewing is open to the public and sponsored by the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church (UMC), the North Carolina Conference of the UMC, and the Duke Human Rights Center. A light lunch will be served.
