Dr. Dorceta E. Taylor, “The Salience of Diversity and Inclusivity in Environmental Organizations: Current Status and Future Strategies”

Join us in welcoming Dr. Dorceta E. Taylor, the James E. Crawfoot Collegiate Professor of Environmental Justice & Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of the University of Michigan. Taylor will be giving a talk entitled “The Salience of Diversity and Inclusivity in Environmental Organizations: Current Status and Future Strategies”, which focuses on the historical and contemporary factors that have influenced the level of diversity and inclusivity in environmental organizations and provide an update on changes since the publication of the 2014 The State of Diversity in Environmental Institutions report. She will also examine strategies that have been effective in enhancing diversity in the field.

A light lunch will be provided.
