Film Screening: We Women Warriors
Event Navigation

The Student Advisory Board of the DHRC@FHI will be hosting a screening of We Women Warriors in honor of Women’s History Month this March.
We Women Warriors tells the story of three brave women from distinct tribes in Colombia’s war-torn indigenous villages who use nonviolent resistance to defend their peoples’ survival. It bears witness to neglected human rights catastrophes and interweaves character-driven stories about female empowerment, unshakable courage, and faith in the endurance of indigenous culture. Find out more and watch the trailer on the We Women Warriors website.
Appetizers and drinks provided. Free and open to the public.
Presented by the DHRC@FHI Student Advisory Board, Baldwin Scholars, the Duke University Women’s Center and Duke University Libraries.
