At this panel, professors and students will speak out about why they attend Moral Monday protests and why they have been arrested. A representative from the NAACP will let students know how they can get more involved.

This past summer, North Carolina politics have been roiling in controversy. Every Monday for the past 3 months, hundreds of people have gathered at the North Carolina General Assembly to express their discontent with recent state government actions against residents’ civil and human rights.
