Social Transformation: The Legacy of Pauli Murray

Across the Threshold Conference: The Panel on “Social Transformation: The Legacy of Pauli Murray” will take place on March 2 from 3:50 to 5:20 p.m. as part of the Across the Threshold Conference at Duke University.

Panel members include Barbara Lau (Director of the Pauli Murray Project), Courtney Reid-Eaton (Exhibition Director at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies) and Jeanette Stokes (Director of the Resource Center for Women and MInistry in the South).

Barbara Lau will lead a presentation titled “Social Transformation: The Legacy of Pauli Murray”, Courtney Reid-Eaton will lead a presentation titled  “Transformational Focus in the Work of Brett Cook through the Face Up Project in Durham, North Carolina” and Jeanette Stokes will lead a presentation titled “Transformational Spaces: Where Social Memory Can Begin to Address Social Injustice”.
