Gargi Mahadeshwar is a sophomore from Cary, North Carolina planning to major in computer science with a human rights certificate. She’s interested in immigration rights, health care, and women’s rights. Along with serving as the co-chair of the human rights board, she’s involved in planning events with Sophomore Class Council, analyzing data for Duke Impact Investing Group, and conducting research on the gender gap in STEM.
