Sarah Holehouse (she/her) is a senior from Lexington, South Carolina majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, and a certificate in Human Rights. She leads the Duke Amnesty International USA chapter and is particularly passionate about criminal justice reform, refugee/migrant rights, healthcare/reproductive rights, and socioeconomic inequality. After Duke, she plans to work in the human rights non-profit sector.

Maria Alba is a second year undergraduate student working at the Duke Human Rights Center. She is passionate about enhancing global equity in regard to accessing education and other vital resources. She hopes to pursue a major in international relations or public policy in order to fight for human and immigrant rights worldwide.

Aseel Ibrahim is a sophomore at Duke, majoring in Political Science and earning the Human Rights Certificate. Originally from Egypt, she lived in Charleston, South Carolina for a majority of her life. She has a passion for Human Rights, specifically education rights, women’s rights, racial equality, and many more major issues around the world.

Rylee Pachman is a first year student planning on majoring in Economics and going pre-law. She is passionate about international relations and human rights on a global scale, with a focus on women’s rights and access to healthcare/reproductive services. After Duke, she plans to study international law and hopes to work in foreign diplomacy.
