Alejandro Rivas is a Peruvian lawyer and a Master of Divinity student at Duke University. He holds a master's degree in philosophy and human rights. He is on the Board of Directors of Warmakuna Hope, a Peruvian non-profit association serving children with disabilities. His commitment to human rights has led him to specialize in women's rights, the rights of migrants and refugees, and the educational inclusion of children with disabilities. |

Gargi Mahadeshwar is a fourth year undergraduate student working at the Duke Human Rights Center this year. She is pursuing a double major in computer science and economics. She is passionate about the ethical development of technology to further the protection of human rights, the right to eduction, women’s rights, and immigrants’ rights. |

Sarah Holehouse (she/her) is a sophomore from Lexington, South Carolina majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, and a certificate in Human Rights. She leads the Duke Amnesty International USA chapter and is particularly passionate about criminal justice reform, refugee/migrant rights, healthcare/reproductive rights, and socioeconomic inequality. After Duke, she plans to work in the human rights non-profit sector. |
