The Student Advisory Board (SAB) of the Duke Human Rights Center @ FHI brings together students to contribute to human rights research, teaching, and advocacy at Duke. Serving as a bridge between students and faculty, the SAB provides input on programming, organizes events such as the annual Global Ideas, Local Impact panel and research slam, and leads initiatives that foster dialogue on pressing human rights issues. Through collaboration with the DHRC Advisory Board and community partners, the SAB plays a key role in advancing the Center’s mission of promoting social justice and critical, interdisciplinary engagement with human rights.
