The Student Advisory Board (SAB) of the Duke Human Rights Center @ the Franklin Humanities Institute brings together undergraduate students to contribute to human rights research, teaching, and advocacy at Duke and beyond. Participation requires a year-long commitment, during which time students will engage with and lead initiatives to promote human rights awareness on campus. Responsibilities of the SAB include providing feedback on human rights programming, organizing the Human Rights Across the Professions panel in the spring, and volunteering directly with human rights organizations in the Triangle.
